The information contained in this Report covers the time period beginning January 27, 2008 to and including January 26, 2009 (the “Applicable Period”).



The FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule requires that this Report contain the following information:

  1. A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Station(s) comprising the Station Employment Unit during the Applicable Period;

  2. For each such vacancy, the recruitment source(s) utilized to fill the vacancy (including, if applicable, organizations entitled to notification pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(1)(ii) of the new EEO Rule, which should be separately identified), identified by name, address, contact person and telephone number;

  3. The recruitment source that referred the hiree for each full-time vacancy during the Applicable Period;

  4. Data reflecting the total number of persons interviewed for full-time vacancies during the Applicable Period and the total number of interviewees referred by each recruitment source utilized in connection with such vacancies; and

  5. A list and brief description of the initiatives undertaken pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(2) of the FCC rules, IF ANY.

Appendices 1, 2 and 3 which follow have been designed, in the aggregate, to provide the required information. Please note that the numbers listed on Appendix 2 under the column entitled “Full-time Positions for Which This Source Was Utilized” refer to the number of the full-time job positions listed on Appendix 1.

For purposes of this Report, a vacancy was deemed “filled” not when the offer was extended but when the hiree accepted the job offer. A person was deemed “interviewed” whether he or she was interviewed in person and/or over the telephone.

This report has been prepared by CLEAR COMMUNICATIONS Inc. which is licensee of radio stations WMIZ (AM) AND WVLT (FM), Vineland, N.J.
The information contained in this Report covers the time period beginning January 27, 2008 to and including January 26, 2009 for radio stations WMIZ (AM) AND WVLT (FM). The FCC’s EEO Rules require that this report contain the following information:


Clear Communications Inc. employment unit employs fewer than five full –time employees: YES


(Consider as “full-time” employees all those permanently working 30 or more hours a week. For purposes of the form, a station employment unit is a station or a group of commonly owned stations in the same market that share at least one employee.)



Broadcast stations operated by the licensee pursuant to a time brokerage agreement: Joaquin Tirado has entered into a time brokerage agreement with Clear Communications Inc. for 12 hours of religious time on WMIZ. Francisco Torres has entered into a time brokerage agreement with Clear Communications Inc. for 5 hours of Public Affairs programs on WMIZ. Ben Garcia has entered into a time brokerage agreement with Clear Communications Inc. for overnight religious programming on WMIZ. All 3 have no other broadcast interests. All three are Renewals from the previous years. All three do their own programs and have no employees. A copy of these agreements are available for inspection in the WMIZ Public File.

  1. Participated in “Career Day” at Indian Avenue School, Bridgeton, N.J. February 29, 2008. Attended by Carl Hemple, General Manager, Clear Communications Inc.


  1. Participated in “JOB FAIR” event at Aspira Inc. of New Jersey, at 12 South Fourth Street, Vineland, N.J., May 16th, 2008. Attended by Carl Hemple, General Manager, Clear Communications Inc...


  1. Daily airing of 60 second announcements on all stations soliciting local organizations who desire to be notified regarding job openings. Also 60 second announcements for Account Executives for Clear Communications Inc. were aired on a continuing basis.


  1. In 2008 the stations established an internship program which offers local college students a chance to explore marketing and promotions opportunities within the radio broadcasting industry while earning college credits. Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Cumberland County College and Rowan College were contacted. No applications were received. Most interns go to the larger stations.



  1. As part of our outreach effort Clear Communications Inc., Vineland, N.J., has hosted elementary, secondary and home schooled groups of children, their teachers and parents as well as Girl and Boy Scout Troops for organized tours of our facilities. Through these tours the children learn about the different responsibilities of operating a commercial radio station by conversing with all those who are employed in programming, sales, promotions, engineering and administration. The following is a list of those schools or troops who have visited and toured Clear Communications Inc., Vineland, N.J. Steve Tatz, Part Time D.J. Conducted the tours.
